Logline:

 

A struggling musician with unwanted psychic abilities becomes a sensation when cakes decorated by her at the local bakery reveal glimpses of the future for each customer.

 

Plot summary:

 

A young woman who dreams of being a singer/composer endures episodes of uncontrolled psychic abilities that surface at the most inopportune moments. This gift allows her to see glimpses of the future but also brings unwanted side effects of memory loss and wooziness. She resents the way her special “talent” continuously prevents her from holding a job and pursuing a music career. Her fortunes change when she lands a job at a local coffee shop and bakery; a job that satisfies her creative expression with “open mic” nights and cake decorations by day. She becomes a sensation when a cake decoration created during one of her spells reveals the future for an unsuspecting customer. Soon the entire city wants a cake from the fortune cake girl.
